Welcome to my blog.

Welcome, welcome! My name is Edyta Grazman, and I am a portrait photographer.

What do I photograph? Well, thank you for asking!
I capture children and the families that come with them through timeless works of art.

We live in an age of universal picture taking. Anyone with a smartphone and some remaining
battery life can instantly become an amateur photographer. We have things like auto focus,
bursts, filters, cropping, and endless settings that come standard on almost all phones. We are
inundated with Instagram posts as far as the eye can see, most of which were likely taken with
someone’s iPhone.

But there remains an artistry in professional photography and printed tangible products that
preserves your memories unlike any smartphone.

That is why I do what I do. Technology comes and goes, but it is through print photography that
your family’s story memories will be handed down from one generation to another. I try to
encapsulate life’s moments with the most picturesque light, the widest smiles, and the most
genuine humanity, as well as offer a variety of curated archival products to preserve your
precious memories.
Some of my sweetest memories of childhood were at my grandma’s house. She would pull out
family albums, make us hot chocolate, and we would flip through heavy pages, my grandma
sharing fascinating stories about all family members, some of them long gone. I think there is
nothing like sitting by the fireplace and flipping through the pages of a family album; that’s what
I want for you—those unforgettable moments at the time of our photo shoot, when you first see
your portraits and many years from now, when you are sharing them with your grandchildren.

And yet, the art of photography also comes with many questions.
Questions like:

  • When should I hire a professional photographer?
  • What questions do I ask a potential photographer on an interview?
  • What should I wear to my photo shoot?
  • Which location should we use for my photo shoot
  • What are the types of products I should think of to preserve my family portraits?

These are the types of questions I will seek to answer for you through this blog. Here you will
find short and sweet tips on how to make life the most memorable you can through portraits.

I look forward to sharing my experiences to help you make the most out of your captured
moments!
